United States: On Wednesday, Kamala Harris said she and her new running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, are “joyful warriors” while attacking Donald Trump as they started the first full day of campaigning across the Mideast together.

They got an unusual look at how intensely the area will be fought over when they bumped into Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance on a tarmac in Wisconsin.
AP News reported that the Democrats went to Wisconsin and Michigan to reinforce the youth, people of color, and workers whom the Biden administration relied on in the 2020 elections.
Harris said at the first of the day’s rallies in Eau Claire, “As Tim Walz likes to point out, we are joyful warriors.” Added to that good news, the Harris campaign said it had outraised its initial 24 hours the whopping USD 36 million after Walz was named her running mate.
What more has the Vice President stated?
The vice president stated that both of them focus on a positive outlook, with one GOP candidate claiming that the former president and Republican candidate, Trump, is a man of the past who enjoys a combative model of politics—even as she addressed her rival.
According to Harris, “Someone who suggests we should terminate the Constitution of the United States should never again have the chance to sit behind the seal of the United States,” as AP News reported.
Additionally, Dan Miller, from Pelican Lake, Wisconsin, who happens to be among the 12,000-plus Eau Claire rally attendees, mentioned that Biden “has been an incredible president, but he just isn’t the same messenger.”
“And sometimes you need a better messenger,” Miller said. “And that’s Kamala.”
This was particularly the case for Harris because Biden’s winning coalition this cycle began to unravel over the summer—especially in Michigan, where the splits over Biden’s response to the Israel-Hamas conflict have been particularly acute.
With the president out of the contest, leaders of the Arab American community and vital unions indicate they are happy with Harris’ vice presidential pick.
Walz’s presence on the ticket has made some leaders happy. It assured them that Harris had considered their complaints about another frontrunner for the vice presidential slot, Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, whom they accused of being excessively pro-Israel.
